A deep understanding of the timber frame sales process has ensured that any potential Timber PAK SW Ltd business prospect moves to become a customer with ease. Thus follows a smooth transition of the home manufacture into the factory and ultimately the site Timber Frame build.
I joined Timber PAK SW Ltd in early May 2019 as Office Manager and have worked my way up to become the General Manager.
I manage and co-ordinate the activities of the timber frame business through the achievement production measures including training, health and safety, minimising downtime and driving ongoing improvement.
I ensure that all orders are manufactured and dispatched in a timely fashion and to ensure that all Operational, Administration, H & S and Business controls are adhered to.
Previous to this, I studied BTEC Level 3 Construction and Civil Engineering and have been in the Construction Sector for over 15 years covering various roles, such as Operations Manager and Site Management, I passed my Site Managers Safety Course in 2017 and I continue to try and grow my knowledge of the sector as much as I can.
Internally promoted to Fabrication Manager at Timber PAK SW Ltd, I have been with the company since its inception in 2016 when I joined initially as a timber framer.
Timber PAK SW Ltd are a fantastic company to work for. As well as bringing in new talent I am particularly grateful that as a business they recognise effort and talent and have rewarded me with the position of Factory Fabrication Manager.
With many years’ experience in the fabrication, production, delivery and the installation of timber frame builds I continue to enjoy the role and to support the company’s growth in business.
Timber PAK SW Ltd has now manufactured and erected new build houses numbering into the hundreds, with many bespoke individual architect designed properties.
Also through the factory fully manufactured in Timber Frame we have built numerous architect designed 3 storey apartment buildings and a number of large house extensions.
I find that timber frame construction is very interesting as a sustainable and affordable modern method of construction.
I am the Project Manager for Timber PAK SW Ltd and I am responsible for design progression to completion ensuring that an on-time and snag free finish is achieved.
Having worked in the construction industry for the past 30 years, I have progressed from a time served Carpenter and Joiner to a Project Manager.
In my previous role I worked in main contracting as a Project Manager thus maintaining my all round knowledge of construction methods and programming of timelines along with my extensive knowledge of Carpentry which is now streamlined into Timber Frame Production.
I have been with the company since 2017.
My role is to supervise production of the timber frame panels we produce and to ensure quality assurances are met and the work is carried out safely and to design specification.
I also carry out staff inductions and training for new starters as well as staff reviews and career development with further training in the workshop.
You can usually find me at the top of bench 1 building the panels and assisting other members of staff with their work.
